"Now if this was something built into the product like what you can do with a Tesla car, that would be really nice as changing out batteries every two years or so, especially with how devices are built these days is a bit of a PITA and too often goes badly... Not sure what the deal is and at least with my car's bluetooth after a firmware update this sort of thing stopped happening, but I am thinking the clocks between the phone and headset are running at slightly different rates with the headset running slightly faster and so there is a periodic buffer underrun... Been thinking about this more and I have been moving in the direction of what this does muffle, it does so well that what it does not effectively muffle seems quite loud as the ears adjust to the greatly reduced sound levels hitting them overall.""Working from home they get roughly 4-6 hours of use a day either listening to music or communicating with others... After reinstalling Bluetooth drivers, clearing out Bluetooth devices, clearing device manager, updating drivers, updating firmware, reboots, using an external Bluetooth adapter, and two hours of troubleshooting, I decided to try to connect them to my cell phone... Typically with over ear headphones, when you cant hear yourself, you tend to talk louder."
"They are big and a little clunky and I can't wear them for more than an hour without airing out my ears for a few minutes... I wish I could pair more than two devices at a time, but I can't say it's really a problem... Still, they have the market pretty much to themselves with these nifty QuietComfort headphones so props to them for that."
"Triple Midnight Color: I wasn't sure what color this was based on the photos here on Amazon, or anything I could find on the web... I really wish Amazon would show better photos or describe the color better for other buyers... Another thing: on the box it says "special edition" and I'm assuming that is referring to the color."
"* After trying out a few other headphone purchases that left me unhappy, I finally decided to try Bose after glowing recommendations from friends. I had resisted due to the lackluster physical appeal of Bose compared to other brands, but I can't express how much better the sound quality, comfort and noise cancellation were with Bose... I actually couldn't believe how much more comfortable the earpads were than any other pair of headphones I've tried at this price point (e."
"I selected these after watching the commercial for them lauding the Alexa connectivity and intentionally held off buying these until I was sure they were being issued with Alexa from Amazon... When I tried to get the newer version from Amazon they said it wasn't possible and that I would just receive the exact same item... It's been a pain in the backside trying to get them setup because there are no instructions in the box addressing the fact that these are the older version without Alexa pre-loaded."
"* I just started using the Bose QuietComfort 35 (Series II) wireless headphones, and generally speaking, they are pretty great... My PC does not have Bluetooth, so I am sort of stuck using the cable... I will give the headphones a few more days of trial, but there is a real chance that I will end up returning them if things get worse."

"Some reviews say there is a different headset that sounds better and I can hear some small amount of room for improvement, but really even with the price tag of this it is a good deal. The main limit I hit is a streaming service I use defaulted back to low quality when I upgraded my phone, so deep bass was crushed a bit and overall was not sounding as good as my home computer which has been the same machine for a while now, but resetting the values and clearing the cache has fixed this issue... Now if this was something built into the product like what you can do with a Tesla car, that would be really nice as changing out batteries every two years or so, especially with how devices are built these days is a bit of a PITA and too often goes badly... Also it seems to be good at figuring out what is white noise and clearing that out completely where some other frequencies that are more useful get through better... Have used for other things like muffling noisy power tools and having my wife watch her TV next to me and not be distracted by anything at all... After reinstalling Bluetooth drivers, clearing out Bluetooth devices, clearing device manager, updating drivers, updating firmware, reboots, using an external Bluetooth adapter, and two hours of troubleshooting, I decided to try to connect them to my cell phone. They would connect to my cell phone and at first I thought it must have been my computer... I will be using these a lot over the next week, and hopefully the first pair was just defective... Also the mic is on the side of the headset so there might be more background noise or what is described as 'echo'. The good thing about the voice chat is your voice is played slightly through the speakers so you don't end up yelling into the microphone like my last headset. Typically with over ear headphones, when you cant hear yourself, you tend to talk louder."
"They are big and a little clunky and I can't wear them for more than an hour without airing out my ears for a few minutes... Also, I have no problem with connecting via Bluetooth with my iPad and my android phone... I wish I could pair more than two devices at a time, but I can't say it's really a problem... I've used these on airplanes and they really cut down the noise. Sometimes I'll just wear them and turn them on and I'm not listening to anything... To me, Bose is very over priced and they drop products and move on to the next newer thing so in time you end up with an orphan device. Still, they have the market pretty much to themselves with these nifty QuietComfort headphones so props to them for that."
"* I have been using the QC15 for YEARS... I've now got the same quality (actually better), cordless... Triple Midnight Color: I wasn't sure what color this was based on the photos here on Amazon, or anything I could find on the web... It's a dark blue color, which matches a lot of the other blue things I have... I really wish Amazon would show better photos or describe the color better for other buyers... Another thing: on the box it says "special edition" and I'm assuming that is referring to the color. I love these headphones."

I had resisted due to the lackluster physical appeal of Bose compared to other brands, but I can't express how much better the sound quality, comfort and noise cancellation were with Bose. These headphones are outstanding! I actually couldn't believe how much more comfortable the earpads were than any other pair of headphones I've tried at this price point (e... Wearing the Bose for 2+ hours left me forgetting I was even wearing them and I completely tuned out my surroundings. Accessorywise, the travel case is a good size for travel with interior pockets for cables - I was hoping an AC USB adapter would be included but I ended up using a spare one. The physical UI on the exterior of the headphones makes pairing and powering on/off incredibly intuitive with a slider button and the voice instructions always let you know the battery life and to which device it's paired."
"* I intentionally ordered these, even though they were pricey, so that I would have Alexa built in... I selected these after watching the commercial for them lauding the Alexa connectivity and intentionally held off buying these until I was sure they were being issued with Alexa from Amazon... When I tried to get the newer version from Amazon they said it wasn't possible and that I would just receive the exact same item. I'm not sure why I got a stuck with the older version and others got a new box for the same amount of money... I can tell from the answers of other users that they received the newer version because they talk about Alexa being pre-loaded and pressing the button being all it takes to get Alexa to work... It's been a pain in the backside trying to get them setup because there are no instructions in the box addressing the fact that these are the older version without Alexa pre-loaded... I had to cover the headset with a hood to keep the wind noise from entering the ear covers and disrupting what I was listening to."
"* I just started using the Bose QuietComfort 35 (Series II) wireless headphones, and generally speaking, they are pretty great. My intended use is to try to drown out the background noise in my open-plan workspace... They are relatively comfortable, and the sound quality is very clear. That said, my main issue is with the port for the audio cable. It is EXTREMELY particular, and I have to wiggle it around to actually get it to get both ears to work... My PC does not have Bluetooth, so I am sort of stuck using the cable... I will give the headphones a few more days of trial, but there is a real chance that I will end up returning them if things get worse."
