"Other than a waste of money, there were a complete waste of time since i purchased them to take on a trip and couldn't use them after the first day."

"second, i have been a swimmer for a long, long time and i have never owned a pair of goggles where my vision is crystal clear out of the water but the minute i'm under water my vision is blurry, it's like i'm swimming without the googles on!"

"For some reason the interior surface of the 07s repels water better than the 02s, which means that there are fewer water droplets that gather on the *interior* of the lenses and are thus more clear when you're swimming."

"I have updated my overall review for a 4 and would have given a 5+ based solely on the attention and responsiveness of Aegend s committement to their customer to resolve whatever the issue might be with their product and fitting."

"THESE GOGGLES DID IN FACT GIVE ME MARKS ON MY NOSE AND EYES AND I HAVE SCREENSHOTS OF THIS PRODUCT'S DESCRIPTION SAYING NEVER HURT YOUR NOSE OR LEAVE A MARK."

"Within 48 hours of filing this negative review Aegend contacted me and offered to send a new set for free- I accepted but I had already placed an order for a replacement as I was traveling to Asia for a month and could not wait for the Aegend to Amazon process."

"I've tried more expensive goggles from Aqua Sphere (Vista model - returned when they fell apart) and Tyr (good goggles, but a bit small), and these are superior in many ways, especially for the money."

"The weirdest thing - on this second set when I wear them outside of the water, they are clear as day... But what good are all of those things if you cannot see out of goggles... Other than a waste of money, there were a complete waste of time since i purchased them to take on a trip and couldn't use them after the first day."

"aegend should look into making the nose piece a soft rubber or making the nose piece wider so the sharp edges are farther away from your nose. second, i have been a swimmer for a long, long time and i have never owned a pair of goggles where my vision is crystal clear out of the water but the minute i'm under water my vision is blurry, it's like i'm swimming without the googles on!... on the plus side, i thought the fit was comfortable, with couple minor adjustments but if i can't see while i'm swimming that's a deal breaker for me."

"I had a small problem with my original order, and they contacted me very quickly and were willing to do whatever necessary to make sure that I was completely satisfied... They come in a nice plastic container, which does a good job of not only protecting them during shipment, but it's also good for storing them in between uses to keep them from getting scratched up... For some reason the interior surface of the 07s repels water better than the 02s, which means that there are fewer water droplets that gather on the *interior* of the lenses and are thus more clear when you're swimming."

"I was sent another pair that had a flat lense instead of the curves ones that I ordered... He offered another type of goggles and a completed refund and I informed him that for me the goggles did not work despite many of the reviews of positive experience... I have updated my overall review for a 4 and would have given a 5+ based solely on the attention and responsiveness of Aegend s committement to their customer to resolve whatever the issue might be with their product and fitting."

"" HEY "AMAZON" DID YOU TRY THESE ON AND SWIM IN THEM BEFORE AWARDING THE "AMAZON'S CHOICE" BADGE TO THIS PRODUCT?... THESE GOGGLES DID IN FACT GIVE ME MARKS ON MY NOSE AND EYES AND I HAVE SCREENSHOTS OF THIS PRODUCT'S DESCRIPTION SAYING NEVER HURT YOUR NOSE OR LEAVE A MARK... THE ONLY REASON IT'S A 5 IS BECAUSE PEOPLE WILL READ IT BECAUSE THEY ALL LIKE FLUFFY HAPPY STORIES WITH 5 STARS."

"Last week they started fogging up on me and now I have to stop every few minutes to rinse in water if I want to be able to see where I am going... Within 48 hours of filing this negative review Aegend contacted me and offered to send a new set for free- I accepted but I had already placed an order for a replacement as I was traveling to Asia for a month and could not wait for the Aegend to Amazon process... In the meantime I have changed review from 2 to 4 stars as I have only had this second pair for three weeks."

"I've tried more expensive goggles from Aqua Sphere (Vista model - returned when they fell apart) and Tyr (good goggles, but a bit small), and these are superior in many ways, especially for the money... This fall, when I move to an indoor poor, I will get a pair with clear lenses, to account for the light in the pool, if they are too dark... Even if they only last a year, that will still save me money over the more expensive goggles which don't do as good a job."

Less Quick

"This time not because of any film or residue on the lenses (at least that I can tell). The weirdest thing - on this second set when I wear them outside of the water, they are clear as day... After about 1 hour in the pool, things started to get a little weird under water. It was as if all of a sudden there was some sort of film, can't describe it (looks, but not feels, almost like wax)... The only plus side is that they fir great, did not leak at all, and looked great. But what good are all of those things if you cannot see out of goggles... Other than a waste of money, there were a complete waste of time since i purchased them to take on a trip and couldn't use them after the first day."

"will have to return them update - 2/13/18 i sent back the goggles back and received a replacement... first thing, i read a lot of reviews about the bridge of the goggles rubbing into your nose. i had this happen somewhat but adjusted the goggles so they rested higher on my face... aegend should look into making the nose piece a soft rubber or making the nose piece wider so the sharp edges are farther away from your nose. second, i have been a swimmer for a long, long time and i have never owned a pair of goggles where my vision is crystal clear out of the water but the minute i'm under water my vision is blurry, it's like i'm swimming without the googles on!... on the plus side, i thought the fit was comfortable, with couple minor adjustments but if i can't see while i'm swimming that's a deal breaker for me... if you take tiny (and i mean tiny) drop of soap and rub it on the inside lenses it will help prevent your goggles from fogging up."

"Aegend is one of the few third-party companies that offers customer service that's every bit as good as Amazon (if not better). I had a small problem with my original order, and they contacted me very quickly and were willing to do whatever necessary to make sure that I was completely satisfied... They come in a nice plastic container, which does a good job of not only protecting them during shipment, but it's also good for storing them in between uses to keep them from getting scratched up. My only (minor) complaint about the packaging would be that the plastic container is placed inside a thin cardboard box that can easily get smashed during shipment (which is what happened with one of the pairs I got). The adjustable straps on both pair I tried worked just fine, the soft rubber underneath the lenses held them in place nicely, and they both fit quite comfortably... For some reason the interior surface of the 07s repels water better than the 02s, which means that there are fewer water droplets that gather on the *interior* of the lenses and are thus more clear when you're swimming... Having said that, I don't think you'd be disappointed with either pair, and the company definitely stands behind their products."

"Returned the item and now after reviewing other comments others have made mention of the same... Update: Customer Service has been exceptional and unparalleled to none in trying to resolve the issue with the goggles. I was sent another pair that had a flat lense instead of the curves ones that I ordered... Was able to see much better, no distortion in my vision but unfortunately the goggles leaked after a few minutes in the pool despite multiple adjustment. The Customer Service Agent, reach out to me again to see if I was satisfied with the replacement and I relayed my new experience.

"BECAUSE YOU WOULDN'T READ A 1 STAR WITH ALL THESE 5 STARS BOOSTING THIS POS PRODUCT'S EGO UP... " HEY "AMAZON" DID YOU TRY THESE ON AND SWIM IN THEM BEFORE AWARDING THE "AMAZON'S CHOICE" BADGE TO THIS PRODUCT?... THESE GOGGLES DID IN FACT GIVE ME MARKS ON MY NOSE AND EYES AND I HAVE SCREENSHOTS OF THIS PRODUCT'S DESCRIPTION SAYING NEVER HURT YOUR NOSE OR LEAVE A MARK... FURTHERMORE, THIS PRODUCT DID NOT APPEAR TO BE IN THE "NEW CONDITION" THAT IT WAS QUOTED TO BE IN... WHEN I OPENED THE CASE I NOTICED TWO THINGS: THERE WAS ***DUST*** ON THE RUBBER GASKET AND THE PROTECTIVE FILM WAS OFF CENTER... ALMOST AS IF SOMEONE ELSE BOUGHT IT, USED IT, ALMOST LOST THEIR NOSE DUE TO POOR BLOOD CIRCULATION, PUT THE FILM BACK ON, AND REEEEEEEEEEEETURNED THIS PIECE OF GARBAGE SCUM... THE ONLY REASON IT'S A 5 IS BECAUSE PEOPLE WILL READ IT BECAUSE THEY ALL LIKE FLUFFY HAPPY STORIES WITH 5 STARS."

"They fit better than any goggle I have ever owned and were also fog free. I rinsed them in water before swimming to activate anti fog coating and carefully rinsed in household water and hung to dry every time... Last week they started fogging up on me and now I have to stop every few minutes to rinse in water if I want to be able to see where I am going... These goggles have received so many great reviews... Within 48 hours of filing this negative review Aegend contacted me and offered to send a new set for free- I accepted but I had already placed an order for a replacement as I was traveling to Asia for a month and could not wait for the Aegend to Amazon process... Aegend has been very present in checking on the process and I expect to find the replacement pair when I return home.

Update: after a month, I haven't changed any of my thoughts on these googles... This fall, when I move to an indoor poor, I will get a pair with clear lenses, to account for the light in the pool, if they are too dark... One thing: swimming goggles just aren't going to be 100% comfortable. They fit around sensitive areas of the face, and if they don't have some pressure on them, they leak... I am experimenting with how much tension needs to be on the straps to keep the goggles from leaking, and so far I've loosened the straps quite a bit... Even if they only last a year, that will still save me money over the more expensive goggles which don't do as good a job."
