adidas Men's Soccer Tiro 17 Training Pants

Very Quick

"Fit/Feel: The legs of the Tiro 17 fit like gloves from just above your calf muscles down to your ankles nothing tight (unless you have some really big calf muscles) just a very comfortably snug feel."

"I know this because when some of his teenage friends came to visit that was the gift he pulled out to show off to his friends (who by the way also had on these pants)."

"* I needed some pants for winter mornings at the gym--something warm enough to keep me from freezing on the way, but not too hot that I got swamp crotch the whole time I was there."

"I also like the deep zippered pockets, but I agree that the pants have a non-authentic look without the embroidered logo."

"I am blocky in stature, muscled calves and thighs, but these are very nice, though I would not normally buy anything that looked styled to slim fit."

"I payed well over 30 dollars for this product, expecting it to be worth it as it is Adidas, one of the biggest fashion names these days, but I would have been better off buying a pair of joggers or sweats somewhere else."

"This level of quality is just not acceptable from a brand like Adidas, no matter which price point it is in their entire line of clothing."

"The medium Tiros were too large too baggy in the waist and seat for my taste and the legs were too long as well seriously stacking at the ankles and wrinkling around the thighs... Fit/Feel: The legs of the Tiro 17 fit like gloves from just above your calf muscles down to your ankles nothing tight (unless you have some really big calf muscles) just a very comfortably snug feel... Out of the bag the material the Tiro 17 s are made from feels a bit coarse and scratchy but gets way better after the first washing; they become much smoother and softer with zero shrinkage."

"I thought I would surprise him with something other than black and pray to god he would like the color I picked... I know this because when some of his teenage friends came to visit that was the gift he pulled out to show off to his friends (who by the way also had on these pants)... I know some were talking about some adidas being fake but if these are, they are good fakes because none of us could tell the difference."

"* I needed some pants for winter mornings at the gym--something warm enough to keep me from freezing on the way, but not too hot that I got swamp crotch the whole time I was there... They're pretty slim, which is good because they don't seem to get in the way while you're moving around. I'm 6'1" and the large pants come just above my ankle, which would go well with high-tops if you're wearing them casually."

"I also like the deep zippered pockets, but I agree that the pants have a non-authentic look without the embroidered logo. What's weird is, these tapered pants are tagged Small, but the classic ones I have are tagged as Large and fits me perfectly... 20, 2017: After a few months of wearing them almost daily to the gym and at work, I've noticed some of the threading above the knee/thigh area coming loose or pulling outward."

"They don't have cuffs, but are slim at the ankles and with short zippers, so that they go on easy, and yet don't drag the floor... I am blocky in stature, muscled calves and thighs, but these are very nice, though I would not normally buy anything that looked styled to slim fit... One thing I'm cautious of: they have zippered front pockets, and my habit is to carry my phone in my left front pocket (nothing else is ever allowed there!"

"This year I made a choice to get these Tiro 17 s because I saw that they were cheaper BUT I realized I made a mistake the second I put them on... I decided to sow these holes and continue to wear them, it is about 8 months now and I can't walk around with these sowed parts of the pants... I payed well over 30 dollars for this product, expecting it to be worth it as it is Adidas, one of the biggest fashion names these days, but I would have been better off buying a pair of joggers or sweats somewhere else."

"Since I am a taller slim guy, I'd love it if the Small waist size pant was an inch or two longer... However, I think it feel a bit too thin, and a bit too heavy- whereas you would want the exact opposite... This level of quality is just not acceptable from a brand like Adidas, no matter which price point it is in their entire line of clothing."

"I ve been looking for some slim-fitting technical athletic pants something a little more trendy and stylish than your basic sweats... Sizing: The Tiro 17 pants come in small, medium, large and extra large with an elastic waistband/drawstring and a single inseam length for each size range... The medium Tiros were too large too baggy in the waist and seat for my taste and the legs were too long as well seriously stacking at the ankles and wrinkling around the thighs... Fit/Feel: The legs of the Tiro 17 fit like gloves from just above your calf muscles down to your ankles nothing tight (unless you have some really big calf muscles) just a very comfortably snug feel... Out of the bag the material the Tiro 17 s are made from feels a bit coarse and scratchy but gets way better after the first washing; they become much smoother and softer with zero shrinkage... Flipping the waistband also lowers the waistline so you can raise the pants a bit and adjust how they fit your crotch... Overall these are a versatile trendy pair of technical athletic pants to wear for a whole bunch of reasons and occasions; they re not just for soccer."

"He has two pair and lives in them all the time. I thought I would surprise him with something other than black and pray to god he would like the color I picked... I know this because when some of his teenage friends came to visit that was the gift he pulled out to show off to his friends (who by the way also had on these pants)... They are a little long on him but he just rolls the waist band. He had to do that with his soccer pants from school too so it s not just these pants by this seller. I ended up buying 2 of the same color because one seller was selling them for $29... I know some were talking about some adidas being fake but if these are, they are good fakes because none of us could tell the difference."

"* I needed some pants for winter mornings at the gym--something warm enough to keep me from freezing on the way, but not too hot that I got swamp crotch the whole time I was there... They'd be great for jogging or even biking in the fall/winter if that's your thing. The material isn't quite as soft or comfortable as, say, a pair of sweatpants, but it's not bad... They're pretty slim, which is good because they don't seem to get in the way while you're moving around. I'm 6'1" and the large pants come just above my ankle, which would go well with high-tops if you're wearing them casually. They do tend to ride down a little if you squat in them, which is the only downside I can think of to the fit... There are also short (maybe 3-4") zippers at the ankle."

"* Unfortunately, these are somewhat too long. Inseam and waist areas fit as expected, but just a couple of inches shorter on the length and it would've been perfect. The material is thinner than the classic one I've had for years, which makes it good for warmer weather... I also like the deep zippered pockets, but I agree that the pants have a non-authentic look without the embroidered logo. What's weird is, these tapered pants are tagged Small, but the classic ones I have are tagged as Large and fits me perfectly... 20, 2017: After a few months of wearing them almost daily to the gym and at work, I've noticed some of the threading above the knee/thigh area coming loose or pulling outward. This isn't the quality from Adidas I was expecting."

"* Well, these are very nice, but I was thinking I was buying nice sweatpants. I need a cuff, because my legs are short at 30" inseam, and cuffless leisure pants drag the floors around the house... They don't have cuffs, but are slim at the ankles and with short zippers, so that they go on easy, and yet don't drag the floor... I am blocky in stature, muscled calves and thighs, but these are very nice, though I would not normally buy anything that looked styled to slim fit... One thing I'm cautious of: they have zippered front pockets, and my habit is to carry my phone in my left front pocket (nothing else is ever allowed there! ) and I'm a little worried about the zipper scratching the screen on the way in and out... But I've had a succession of large smartphones, without screen protectors, and have never had even the tiniest scratch."

"This year I made a choice to get these Tiro 17 s because I saw that they were cheaper BUT I realized I made a mistake the second I put them on... It does not have that silky, comfortable feeling that the Tiro 15 provides, and it feels like paper almost... The only good thing they executed well was the fit. It still gives me that slim look that I was looking for, but other than that the quality is disgusting... I decided to sow these holes and continue to wear them, it is about 8 months now and I can't walk around with these sowed parts of the pants... I payed well over 30 dollars for this product, expecting it to be worth it as it is Adidas, one of the biggest fashion names these days, but I would have been better off buying a pair of joggers or sweats somewhere else. I truly am disappointed, and if my product was just defective, please prove me wrong and SEND ME ANOTHER, or REFUND ME."

"* I am writing this review hoping that Adidas checks this out and fixes it in the next year's version... Since I am a taller slim guy, I'd love it if the Small waist size pant was an inch or two longer... However, I think it feel a bit too thin, and a bit too heavy- whereas you would want the exact opposite... I'd like to second what another reviewer (HR Director) said... This level of quality is just not acceptable from a brand like Adidas, no matter which price point it is in their entire line of clothing... I think Adidas has done a good job with this. If you fix these, this will make for a killer entry next year!"
