Alina Vitamin C Serum uses a premium vitamin c ester which has been clinically proven to be gentler on the skin while delivering superior results over traditional ascorbic acid and phosphate based vitamin c... Personally I don't care I am OK with using Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate and truly that is the Vitamin C in most other Vit C serums as it is more stable, but yes harsher on your skin."

"The bottle lasted me over 2 months since I didn't use very large amounts and combined it with Argan oil most of the time... My skin is very sensitive and I have noticed that if the ascorbic acid concentration is too high, my skin itches and reacts a little bit... I really like the wonderful citrusy scent and the creamy consistency rather than a gel... The kind of reaction that I have when the concentration of ascorbic acid is higher than what my skin can handle. Which is actually not a bad thing, it just means that for me, I have to dilute the serum with some either Argan oil or Avocado oil - that's just what I use... If you'd like to know what's in this bottle, I am attaching the list of ingredients alinacorp... "These two factors combined mean that there are very few facial products on the market that don't irritate my skin... The directions recommend applying twice a day, after cleansing your face... Here is a list of ingredients: Vitamin C Ester, Hyaluronic Acid, Aloe Vera Extract, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Glycerin, Green Tea Extract, and White Tea Extract... I do know that the ingredients can be very helpful for those of us who are becoming "more mature. " This is the first time I have been able to use a product like this for more than two days... I thought that this was a little pricey but my Mom, who once was a cosmetics consultant assures me that products of this nature often go for a much higher price... I'm looking forward to seeing what other products this company will add to their skin care line."

"The oil glands should keep the skin moist and subtle, but when things get out of hand, you get blackheads and acme... Some people will suffer from sun exposure more than others... And people who eat lots of red meat, fatty foods, and don't receive the proper nutrition, damage the skin organ, along with their other organs, over time... Nothing can replace the basics, like getting enough sleep, ingesting the rights Omega 3 acids, and vitamins, keeping your skin clean, avoiding excessive sun exposure, etc... ALINA SKIN CARE developed this Vitamin C ester cream, that contains hyaluronic acid, Vitamin E, aloe vera, with green tea and white tea extract, to help the skin heal itself... Just using a little bit of this product, the size of a pea, was enough for me to obtain better looking skin... During the hot summer months, you might want to find a product to use with this, to prevent sun damage."

"This serum not only contains Vitamin C but also my other favorite ingredient, hyaluronic acid. Never overlook this ingredient when trying to keep your skin youthful... I use Retin A as well (Vitamin A) which is very drying to my skin and makes it sensitive but it is a wonder cream I will not go without... It takes a while for Vitamin C or any serum for that matter to actually start to work and show visible signs of undoing damage and brightening the skin... I want to go with 5 stars but I feel like I need more time to see if it softens my fine lines and brightens my skin the way it should... I plan to continue using it along with Retin A because I can actually apply this first, wait 15 minutes, then apply the Retin A... I know when people read that disclosure, they think the reviewer is affiliated with the company or some such thing but I have no affiliation and was not obligated to rate this product high."

"In the past year, I have tried probably about 20 Vitamin C serums and while some of them were pretty decent, none were as effective and as absolutely gorgeously smelling as the Alina one... It goes on silky smooth, it's not too thick nor too liquidy, it smells divine and it actually does what it's supposed to. I've been using it religiously for over 10 days now, as I always evaluate all skin care products for about 7-10 days before sharing my opinion, and honestly, I have no plans of switching to anything else. My skin feels replenished, revitalized, refreshed and just all around rejuvenated. I've been applying it heavily to my under-eye areas to see if it will help minimize the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, and gosh, I really think it did... Not only is this one of the most effective vitamin C serums out there, it's also the best smelling one I have ever used. Some vitamin C serums smell merely tolerable, most smell like something that died in your grandmas medicine cabinet, this one?"

"I can feel a slight tingle when I first started using it, but that is normal if you ever used a Vitamin C serum before... Most of the time just decreased to once every other day, then go to once a day for a while, then increase to twice a day as you skin gets used to it... This is the ingredients listed on the bottle exactly: "Active Ingredients: Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate, (Vitamin C Ester), Hyaluronic Acid, Aloe Vera Extract, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Glycerin, Green Tea Extract, White Tea Extract". This is copied and pasted from the ad page above on Amazon right up there in a fact about this product: "Unfortunately, products that contain higher concentration levels of vitamin C (sodium ascorbyl phosphate is an example) can also increase the risk of skin irritation. Alina Vitamin C Serum uses a premium vitamin c ester which has been clinically proven to be gentler on the skin while delivering superior results over traditional ascorbic acid and phosphate based vitamin c... Personally I don't care I am OK with using Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate and truly that is the Vitamin C in most other Vit C serums as it is more stable, but yes harsher on your skin... Disclosure: I received this product on a promotional discount for my honest review and they are 100% my own opinions."
