Platinum-Plated Sterling Silver Round Cubic Zirconia Stud Earrings

"I'd have needed to save to purchase them, and still would have had a hard time justifying spending several thousand for a pair of earrings."

"They're beautiful accents for your ears without breaking the bank (or breaking the bank of someone buying them for you - I'd rather use that money for a trip that both of us can take, or something else more useful than real diamonds that don't do any more for me than quality CZ diamonds!"

"I originally was going to, but after reading some of the reviews saying how the smaller ones were too small and most said they would have ordered the 2 carat (1 for each ear), I opted for them."

"I agree with other reviewers - these earrings are very nice - attractive, sturdy and the stones are beautifully faceted, bright white in color and are extremely easy to mistake for diamonds."

"But hey, at this price point, I might as well buy the 2 ct (so they're 1 ct each) even though a that size they could look really fake since they're "flawless" unlike real diamonds."

"They won't fool a jeweler or even someone like me, a person who loves jewelry and wears both real and faux--but, the stones sure fooled my husband, who immediately asked me why I had bought my own earrings, without telling him, for our upcoming 20th anniversary!"

"The 2cttw size seemed a little large in the photo but in the question/answer it appeared as if the seller answered the question of sizing to be 2 ct TOTAL WEIGHT (So 1 ct each stud) even though other buyers stated each stud was 2ct each."

"These are better than any department store CZ studs set in 14k that I've seen... Seriously, these earrings have eliminated my desire for beautiful natural diamonds of this carat weight. I'd have needed to save to purchase them, and still would have had a hard time justifying spending several thousand for a pair of earrings."

"But now I wish I still had some of the basics, so I decided to start replacing some of the must-have pieces like earring studs and drop necklaces, but I didn't want (or need) real diamonds as long as the CZs looked real and were made of quality materials... I had another pair (from a different manufacturer) but lost one of the studs so this was a replacement pair... They're beautiful accents for your ears without breaking the bank (or breaking the bank of someone buying them for you - I'd rather use that money for a trip that both of us can take, or something else more useful than real diamonds that don't do any more for me than quality CZ diamonds!"

"I originally was going to, but after reading some of the reviews saying how the smaller ones were too small and most said they would have ordered the 2 carat (1 for each ear), I opted for them... Another reason I don't wear posts is because my ear lobes tend to itch when I wear them, whether they are 18k gold, surgical steel or sterling; but these don't itch at all, guess it's the platinum. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a great pair of classic diamond studs, but are on a limited budget."

"I agree with other reviewers - these earrings are very nice - attractive, sturdy and the stones are beautifully faceted, bright white in color and are extremely easy to mistake for diamonds... Backs are bigger than most gold backs and the back loops fit tightly against the post so you aren't likely to lose them... 5 ct diamond posts because they are larger and she always receives compliments when she wears them."

"5-$3k for earrings now that I have 2 kids that will some day need to go to college- I realized my best alternative was to buy a really good quality pair of CZs... It's just not a real diamond ;) I got the 1 ct so they'd be identical to the ones I lost- but also because I thought going too big would be obviously fake... But hey, at this price point, I might as well buy the 2 ct (so they're 1 ct each) even though a that size they could look really fake since they're "flawless" unlike real diamonds."

"They won't fool a jeweler or even someone like me, a person who loves jewelry and wears both real and faux--but, the stones sure fooled my husband, who immediately asked me why I had bought my own earrings, without telling him, for our upcoming 20th anniversary!... UNTIL the post on the right one bent, almost breaking, when I attempted to put the earring in-- after only 12 or so wears, that's not good... But now cannot wear them for everyday, with the bent post and the concern it may snap or the front fall off."

"I had wanted to purchase these to wear for a while before deciding what size real diamond studs to buy. The 2cttw size seemed a little large in the photo but in the question/answer it appeared as if the seller answered the question of sizing to be 2 ct TOTAL WEIGHT (So 1 ct each stud) even though other buyers stated each stud was 2ct each... I also dislike that the posts are at the top of the earring so you cannot avoid having the earring droop beneath the lobe."

"Only you will know they aren't diamond... These earrings have it all; brilliance, fire, sparkle, shine, clear, clean in clarity, and an awesome cut... The platinum overly is very well done, most likely won't cause any allergic reactions... These are better than any department store CZ studs set in 14k that I've seen... (Now, I don't shower or wash my hair with earrings on, but I did and often )...

I had another pair (from a different manufacturer) but lost one of the studs so this was a replacement pair. It's unbelievably gorgeous, shiny, looks real (I bought the 2ctw pair - 1ct each), and the backer fits snugly on the post and the size is perfect. The prongs are tight and I have no worries about losing them when I fiddle with my hair (which I do often by habit!... I'd lost my other earring because the backer was loose, and now I don't have to worry... So if you're on the fence about buying these, whether for yourself, your lady, or a gift for someone else - jump off the fence and get them! They're beautiful accents for your ears without breaking the bank (or breaking the bank of someone buying them for you - I'd rather use that money for a trip that both of us can take, or something else more useful than real diamonds that don't do any more for me than quality CZ diamonds!"

"I really enjoy these earrings; the only thing I would have ordered differently would be to get smaller earrings. I originally was going to, but after reading some of the reviews saying how the smaller ones were too small and most said they would have ordered the 2 carat (1 for each ear), I opted for them... I put them on as soon as I saw the package and they haven't been out of my ears since... I normally do not wear posts because my ears are very close to my head and as a result, posts usually poke my head/neck, but I figured, I would give these a shot. They don't poke me, the post is just the right size for security and comfort.

99, they are a great deal and you won't cry when she loses one... Have not had them long enough to know how well the coating will hold up. Backs are bigger than most gold backs and the back loops fit tightly against the post so you aren't likely to lose them... and at first was puzzled when one stud was inside the typical blue Amazon pouch in a plastic bag...... Back to the good part - my daughter wears them much more often than she does her . 5 ct diamond posts because they are larger and she always receives compliments when she wears them."

"When my toddler son flushed my authentic studs down the toilet, I was heartbroken (and glad I had them insured)... 5-$3k for earrings now that I have 2 kids that will some day need to go to college- I realized my best alternative was to buy a really good quality pair of CZs... better than most CZs I've seen in stores... It's just not a real diamond ;) I got the 1 ct so they'd be identical to the ones I lost- but also because I thought going too big would be obviously fake... 5ct, I think that's as big as you could pull off without feeling like a phony. But hey, at this price point, I might as well buy the 2 ct (so they're 1 ct each) even though a that size they could look really fake since they're "flawless" unlike real diamonds... and I'm not going to even pretend that I would spend that on my ears at this "life stage" (small kids) Packaging wasn't as shown but that's ok!"

"They won't fool a jeweler or even someone like me, a person who loves jewelry and wears both real and faux--but, the stones sure fooled my husband, who immediately asked me why I had bought my own earrings, without telling him, for our upcoming 20th anniversary!... UNTIL the post on the right one bent, almost breaking, when I attempted to put the earring in-- after only 12 or so wears, that's not good. I was able to bend it back, but that earring now sits differently in the ear when worn, and may soon break if I keep attempting to fix that bend in the metal... The 1 ctw (carat total weight) size is 1/2 carat per ear; they do look sparkly, shiny and beautiful and are just the right size for everyday wear. The basket style setting seems strong and secure; I do wish they were screw backs but for this price, the regular snap on earring backs are ok... But now cannot wear them for everyday, with the bent post and the concern it may snap or the front fall off... You DO get what you pay for."

"I carefully read the reviews and questions/answers before choosing which size to get... I had wanted to purchase these to wear for a while before deciding what size real diamond studs to buy. The 2cttw size seemed a little large in the photo but in the question/answer it appeared as if the seller answered the question of sizing to be 2 ct TOTAL WEIGHT (So 1 ct each stud) even though other buyers stated each stud was 2ct each. What confused me is that the description is 2 cttw, which stands for 2 carats total weight. So I decided to buy that size since I wanted to see how large 1 ct in each ear looked like. When I received these I was immediately impressed with the quality but knew the description was wrong... I also dislike that the posts are at the top of the earring so you cannot avoid having the earring droop beneath the lobe."
