"But one kitty is a male and I know males tend to have problems with their urinary tracts especially if they do not get enough fluids, so I made the fateful decision to include "wet food" in their diets for the sake of the male.""I'm on a fixed income so I have to admit I've never tried giving her designer cat foods or cat foods only sold at the vets but over the years I've tried just about every dry and wet cat food that's deemed nutritious for our felines that's found in most super markets."
"(he goes totally bananas for those, and you can see the large hunks of meat and shrimp in them) But those are quite a bit more expensive for everyday feedings and/or "treats."
"But I am giving up the fish and gravy choice along with all the other gravy choices I had tried previously for some of the same reasons others have mentioned in their reviews."

"But of course the more expensive "wet" food that comes in a smaller can seems to meet with their approval to a degree that makes the bigger cans a waste of money."

"My two kitters love Fancy Feast cat food and because most of its varieties can be had on Prime, that is about all they get to eat... But one kitty is a male and I know males tend to have problems with their urinary tracts especially if they do not get enough fluids, so I made the fateful decision to include "wet food" in their diets for the sake of the male... The poor little kitty who had nothing to eat, now wants to know why he is getting some variety of Fancy Feast that does not quite suit his palatte.""I'm on a fixed income so I have to admit I've never tried giving her designer cat foods or cat foods only sold at the vets but over the years I've tried just about every dry and wet cat food that's deemed nutritious for our felines that's found in most super markets... Call me crazy but there was just something about the ads on TV and their advertising that just turned me off... It's been a little over a month now and she still asks for breakfast and dinner every day and FINISHES the whole serving I give her."
"(he goes totally bananas for those, and you can see the large hunks of meat and shrimp in them) But those are quite a bit more expensive for everyday feedings and/or "treats... My cat really likes these, and will devour them until he could puke (if we let him) We use the fancy feast for training purposes and supplemental "treats... We bribe him with a can of wet food, and he doesn't even notice that his nails are being trimmed."
"Recently, I decided to try a monthly subscription--mostly the poultry and beef classic with a few boxes of fish with gravy since Amazon does not offer classic style fish (though I think Fancy Feast does package it)... Yes, my cats could live well without fish, but I like to offer them some dietary variety... But I am giving up the fish and gravy choice along with all the other gravy choices I had tried previously for some of the same reasons others have mentioned in their reviews."
"I wish I could save he dove right in and never came up for air when he got his new Fancy Feast. However, he will eat it consistently and that's more than we can say about all the other brands we have tried. He really likes his Taste of the Wild dry but needs the wet at least once a day to maintain healthy (regular) bowel habits."
"Ours likes Fancy Feast, but only the grilled-style in the seafood-type flavors... The shipment of cat food (we bought about $75 worth) arrived quickly and well packaged, part of it in plastic-wrapped cardboard flats of 24 cans, and part of the shipment in 24 can boxes... The Amazon price is approximately the same as the price at our local big-box stores, but with Amazon's free shipping (and maybe no sales tax, depending on your state's tax laws), you can't beat the convenience of having cat food delivered directly to your door."
"But the two cats I recently adopted from our animal shelter seem to turn up their noses at anything that isn't a dry, crunchy cat food or treat. But of course the more expensive "wet" food that comes in a smaller can seems to meet with their approval to a degree that makes the bigger cans a waste of money. It doesn't matter whether it's Fancy Feast Gourmet or Sheba or the other "premium-priced" wet foods: the small can is in, the big out."

"My two kitters love Fancy Feast cat food and because most of its varieties can be had on Prime, that is about all they get to eat... Kibble would have been OK with them forever had they known no better. But one kitty is a male and I know males tend to have problems with their urinary tracts especially if they do not get enough fluids, so I made the fateful decision to include "wet food" in their diets for the sake of the male. Fancy Feast was one of the few vendors who makes kitten food and so that is what they got and how this tale got started... " No matter what the subject, the stare Always boils down to something very simple but very deadly: "WHAT WERE YOU THINKING WHEN....?... The poor little kitty who had nothing to eat, now wants to know why he is getting some variety of Fancy Feast that does not quite suit his palatte... But then, Fancy Feast came out with this grilled seafood pak.""I'm on a fixed income so I have to admit I've never tried giving her designer cat foods or cat foods only sold at the vets but over the years I've tried just about every dry and wet cat food that's deemed nutritious for our felines that's found in most super markets... The second day she wasn't as enthusiastic and by day five she wouldn't want anything to do with the new fare. The one well known popular cat food I never bought was Fancy Feast. Call me crazy but there was just something about the ads on TV and their advertising that just turned me off... She doesn't eat out of a crystal bowl and if you tried to but a diamond studded collar on her she'd throw a tissy fit... The vet said she was the perfect weight with a nice coat so I knew she wasn't underfed or malnourished but she had stopped eating... It's been a little over a month now and she still asks for breakfast and dinner every day and FINISHES the whole serving I give her."
"(actually much better than Sam's Club) [as of the date of this post, under thirteen dollars with the discount] **Before you put an empty can into your recycle bin, rinse it with water!... (he goes totally bananas for those, and you can see the large hunks of meat and shrimp in them) But those are quite a bit more expensive for everyday feedings and/or "treats... He is a grazer, and eats when he is hungry only, so we keep a pile of dry food out for him at all times. My cat really likes these, and will devour them until he could puke (if we let him) We use the fancy feast for training purposes and supplemental "treats... We bribe him with a can of wet food, and he doesn't even notice that his nails are being trimmed... We also have tried the Whiskies cans, but they look and smell so yucky... That doesn't happen with these, he will scarf and scarf until it's completely gone, and lick the plate, begging for more!"
"The biggest reason is that with dry food, cats can be chronically dehydrated... Yes, I would like to serve them up premium raw food daily, but that is out of the question... The reviews of this by people seemingly in the know were quite positive--especially for the classic style--good quality at a reasonable price... Recently, I decided to try a monthly subscription--mostly the poultry and beef classic with a few boxes of fish with gravy since Amazon does not offer classic style fish (though I think Fancy Feast does package it)... Yes, my cats could live well without fish, but I like to offer them some dietary variety... But I am giving up the fish and gravy choice along with all the other gravy choices I had tried previously for some of the same reasons others have mentioned in their reviews. My cats rarely vomit anymore, and when one of them does, it consistently follows a feeding of the gravy choice."
"Our Oscar Jon is a 20 lb Maine Coon tom and he doesn't like most wet cat foods. We were at our wits end trying to come up with one he'll eat consistently. I wish I could save he dove right in and never came up for air when he got his new Fancy Feast. However, he will eat it consistently and that's more than we can say about all the other brands we have tried. He really likes his Taste of the Wild dry but needs the wet at least once a day to maintain healthy (regular) bowel habits. He only likes shredded with gravy so this fits his criteria and is easy for me to open (pull tab lids). We bought the seafood variety pack because he won't touch beef or chicken."
"These are the flavors that our cat prefers. Our cat, probably like yours, too, has very evident preferences in her food. Ours likes Fancy Feast, but only the grilled-style in the seafood-type flavors. Other brands and other flavors, even Fancy Feast, get ignored by our cat. The shipment of cat food (we bought about $75 worth) arrived quickly and well packaged, part of it in plastic-wrapped cardboard flats of 24 cans, and part of the shipment in 24 can boxes. The cat food's freshness dates were well out into next year, and the cans were clean and in perfect, undamaged condition. The Amazon price is approximately the same as the price at our local big-box stores, but with Amazon's free shipping (and maybe no sales tax, depending on your state's tax laws), you can't beat the convenience of having cat food delivered directly to your door."
"I raised all my cats and dogs mostly on "wet" food, buying the cheapest and biggest cans I could find. But the two cats I recently adopted from our animal shelter seem to turn up their noses at anything that isn't a dry, crunchy cat food or treat. But of course the more expensive "wet" food that comes in a smaller can seems to meet with their approval to a degree that makes the bigger cans a waste of money. It doesn't matter whether it's Fancy Feast Gourmet or Sheba or the other "premium-priced" wet foods: the small can is in, the big out. Or, more accurately, the small cans have a far better chance of acceptance from these inscrutable pets... can are so much more palatable and delicious than the contents of a 5-6 oz... I'm saving up empty small cans in preparation for an experiment."
