"The grip is decent as well, another set of picks my friend gave me had some sort of waxy coating and they used to slip out of my hands when I played."
"I have found that other brands of picks seem to slip and slide awkwardly across the guitar strings, while my Planet Waves Assorted Pearl Celluloid Guitar Picks effortlessly strum the strings, almost as if God himself (or one of his angel minions) was strumming my guitar."
"I do know it's not just me or the way that I play, I have some Fender picks that are the same thickness and I've never even cracked one of them, even when we're really banging it out and having fun."
"The lettering and symbols on each pick in some kind of silver ink don't wear off on thumbs or strings, I've even washed one without the text fading, so you will not need to worry about cheap or faulty issues regarding that."
"Oh and also as i was speed picking some of the red paint scraped off onto my guitar string which lead me to believe that these are some of the weakest and cheapest made picks.."

"Now while it is true that you don't need a pick to play guitar and in fact, finger picking actually can give you some better sounds, but, I knew I still wanted some picks because I am not a finger picker... These picks may be at a cheap price, but they are really made with quality... Also, these things are not easy to lose either since they stick out a lot if you drop one on the ground in your house, street, ETC.""70mm picks which are probably a bit much for the ukulele I ordered them for (though when you pick individual strings, the sound is really bright and clean). I should have ordered felt picks for the uke instead, but I'm not much on using picks anyway even on guitars. However, since I do own two guitars, these will be useful to use on these when I want a louder or different tone than finger strumming and picking."
"They're pretty durable; I've been using them for over a year now and have no problems whatsoever and only lost two. The grip is decent as well, another set of picks my friend gave me had some sort of waxy coating and they used to slip out of my hands when I played... Overall, I would definitely recommend them, you can't really find much better for this price."
"I purchased the 25 pack since I find that my friends steal my Planet Waves Assorted Pearl Celluloid Guitar Picks on a regular basis due to the product's high quality (pearl celluloid) and functionality (they pick). The assorted colors allow me to also easily color-coordinate my outfits with my pick, an absolutely essential feature in today's culture where individuals are regularly critiqued for their clothing and style (i... I have found that other brands of picks seem to slip and slide awkwardly across the guitar strings, while my Planet Waves Assorted Pearl Celluloid Guitar Picks effortlessly strum the strings, almost as if God himself (or one of his angel minions) was strumming my guitar."
"I play rhythm guitar and I bought these picks in the "light" weight because the price was nice and they came in such cool colors... I end up breaking one almost every time I play a gig and it's a pain in the butt to lose the rhythm halfway through a song because the end of my pick broke off and I have to either turn it or grab a new one to be able to play again. I do know it's not just me or the way that I play, I have some Fender picks that are the same thickness and I've never even cracked one of them, even when we're really banging it out and having fun."
"I use mediums and they are perfect for what I want, the assorted colors are great, there isn't a single one that looks bad, and they perform great. The lettering and symbols on each pick in some kind of silver ink don't wear off on thumbs or strings, I've even washed one without the text fading, so you will not need to worry about cheap or faulty issues regarding that. Overall, the feel and performance of these picks make how cheap they are a total steal, I recommend the 25 pack for any hobby style player, we all know guitar picks can "get around."
"As soon as i got this pack i got a green pick and used it in some rough metal songs, and after a week the entire logo is off and the sides of the pick is completely scraped everywhere... I'm not very fast or good at the guitar so technically i would not recommend these to anyone... Oh and also as i was speed picking some of the red paint scraped off onto my guitar string which lead me to believe that these are some of the weakest and cheapest made picks.."

"Okay, I just ordered a new guitar (Fender FA-100 Dreadnought Acoustic Sunburst) and the guitar package only came with a gig bag, and I need picks. Now while it is true that you don't need a pick to play guitar and in fact, finger picking actually can give you some better sounds, but, I knew I still wanted some picks because I am not a finger picker. So when I bought this cheap brand made picks, I was really amazed!... These picks may be at a cheap price, but they are really made with quality. It has a plasticy, but NICE feel to them and the different colors in the Pearl texture look great!... They're picks, they're cheap, and once my guitar gets on (Monday, Feb 24), I'm sure it will serve its purpose. Also, these things are not easy to lose either since they stick out a lot if you drop one on the ground in your house, street, ETC.""They're guitar picks--what can more can I say? You get two of each color, and the colors are deep, and jewel-toned... 70mm picks which are probably a bit much for the ukulele I ordered them for (though when you pick individual strings, the sound is really bright and clean). I should have ordered felt picks for the uke instead, but I'm not much on using picks anyway even on guitars. However, since I do own two guitars, these will be useful to use on these when I want a louder or different tone than finger strumming and picking. They're cheap enough so if I lose one (or all), I won't be too heartbroken. These would be a good add-on gift for a guitarist--think "stocking stuffer" at Christmas."
"What can I say? There are guitar picks, and then there are Planet Waves Assorted Pearl Celluloid Guitar Picks. I purchased the 25 pack since I find that my friends steal my Planet Waves Assorted Pearl Celluloid Guitar Picks on a regular basis due to the product's high quality (pearl celluloid) and functionality (they pick). The assorted colors allow me to also easily color-coordinate my outfits with my pick, an absolutely essential feature in today's culture where individuals are regularly critiqued for their clothing and style (i... , TLC's "What Not to Wear" and E!... I believe that my guitar's strings have formed a long-term relationship with the Planet Waves Assorted Pearl Celluloid Guitar Picks as well. I have found that other brands of picks seem to slip and slide awkwardly across the guitar strings, while my Planet Waves Assorted Pearl Celluloid Guitar Picks effortlessly strum the strings, almost as if God himself (or one of his angel minions) was strumming my guitar."
"I play rhythm guitar and I bought these picks in the "light" weight because the price was nice and they came in such cool colors. I have been very unsatisfied with them. I end up breaking one almost every time I play a gig and it's a pain in the butt to lose the rhythm halfway through a song because the end of my pick broke off and I have to either turn it or grab a new one to be able to play again. I do know it's not just me or the way that I play, I have some Fender picks that are the same thickness and I've never even cracked one of them, even when we're really banging it out and having fun. Even though the colors are beautiful, I won't be buying this brand again. All that said, I (unlike some others that ordered these apparently) had good luck with the shipper. Shipping rate was comparable to anywhere else and I got the picks in a very short time after ordering."
"Well these pics are very bright and well, but to me these are weak picks. These would only be good for beginners that don't really strum at high speeds. As soon as i got this pack i got a green pick and used it in some rough metal songs, and after a week the entire logo is off and the sides of the pick is completely scraped everywhere... I'm not very fast or good at the guitar so technically i would not recommend these to anyone. If you are looking for durable picks that will last you over a few year, buy the jim dunlops..... Oh and also as i was speed picking some of the red paint scraped off onto my guitar string which lead me to believe that these are some of the weakest and cheapest made picks.. trust me when i say dont buy these unless you are on a tight budget."
